Symptom
When you click on Views > Excel inplace, below error coming out,
You are getting error, “Contact your system administrator. The following template is missing: sap_sm.xls”
Solution
Execute the report BCALV_BDS_IMPORT_SAP_TEMPLATE using the transaction code SE38.
