Error message UNE1 ERROR NEG YTD IN TCRT NOT ALLOWED

Purpose

Purpose of this document is provide a overview the error detected in the Payroll log in the execution of the program RPCALCU0.

Overview

Error may occurs because a misconfiguration between the table T5UTX and BTXRATE.

Error message UNE1 ERROR NEG YTD IN TCRT NOT ALLOWED

The error with the refund amount is resulted of inconsistent configuration of the BTXRATE table on SAP and BSI side:

UNE1********* <    ERROR     #        =NEG YTD IN= TCRT NOT =ALLOWED

The BTXRATE table needs to be maintained on both SAP and BSI with the same rate for the tax authorities. Even if you are using the default
rate on T5UTX, the BTXRATE table needs to be maintained in order for SAP to handle multiple states properly.

first pay period that the EE is in the new authority, the employee is
rejected during the payroll run with the following error:
UNE1********* < ERROR # =NEG YTD IN= TCRT NOT
Other terms
/416, /410, TCRT, negative, refund, authority

Reason and Prerequisites
Previous notes are incompatible in specific scenarios

Solution
Apply the appropriate HR Support Package (HRSP) for your release level.

This note 737565 was delivered by Support Package a long time ago, this note is already included in all releases.

Now the issue is usually by customizing. Sometimes, this errors occurs just because the date is wrong in one of the places (BSI or BTXRATE).
