Organizational Unit in SAP
The following training tutorials guides you how to create new organizational unit in SAP step by step. This transaction code “PPOCE” allows to create root organizational unit.
SAP Menu: – Human resources > Organizational Management > Organizational plan >Organization & staffing > Create
Transaction code: – PPOCE
Step 1: – Enter transaction code: – PPOCE” in the SAP command field and press enter.
Step 2: – In next screen you are asked to update the organizational valid period, by default the date will be as creating date of organizational unit and valid up to 31.12.9999. Click on check mark to continue.
Step 3: – In next screen, the new organizational unit is displayed in both overview. In details screen update the details of new organizational unit.
Click on account assignment and update the controlling area, cost center, business area, company code, personnel area and personnel sub area fields.
Click on save button to save the configured new organizational unit.
